Presumed Lost, But Found

I had not seen this pair of pants since like, forever. I resigned myself to the thought that I probably donated it by accident. Like that time I found my skirt at the op shop which I had to buy back because I was 100% sure the only reason it was there was because it got mixed up with the other clothes I wanted to donate.

But last week, I found them. In my sister’s bedroom, of all places.

So I stole it back.

I may have styled it badly when I wore it years ago but hopefully I can redeem myself next time because they’re actually quite comfortable and I’m one of those stubborn ones who hate to give up on something even when it’s not exactly working out in the direction I want it to. (Ask my ex.)

But, yeah.

It’s Mother’s Day today. Raven surprised me with a treasure hunt and Jeff gifted me a Nirvana Unplugged In New York record so I was stoked.

I swear to God I am so blessed. For real. And I don’t mean that in an Instagram way.

Life’s good. Not perfect, but good.

  1. We have a public box for old clothes here on the street where I put the old clothes for donation. I have not seem them yet again and I do not exactly know where they go and what they do with it..

    1. I’ve seen similar ones here in Melbourne, as well. I think they’re being collected by the charity organisations that put them there, probably to distribute them to their shops around the country or whatever.

I personally like to donate my clothes to my favourite op shops. I’m a bit biased like that. hehe.
