Some of these people I’ve known for more than five years now.

Jia and Cristina I’ve known almost seven years.

Seven.

Going all the way back to our Springvale days where I first started my nursing journey in endoscopy and loving the work/life balance it has given me so much that I never left.

It’s nice to catch up with them outside of work every once in a while. Go on brunches after working around everyone’s busy schedules, which means a lot of postponements and rainchecks and patience for the person organising the event.

By some form of miracle, we eventually set up a date somehow.

And I still manage to arrive late.
