the royal exhibition building.
yep, this world heritage site-listed building completed in 1880, making it the largest building in australia and the highest building in melbourne at the time. 135 years of existence. that, in itself, is amazing!
if you don’t already know, i love old houses and buildings. i especially love visiting ancestral houses. that’s my kind of high. so please excuse me for staring stupidly at the ceiling of the great hall while the filipino acts were going on. i couldn’t help myself.
with this kind of majestic architecture all around you, could you?
it’s beautiful. we’re soulmates that way, i love staring at pieces / artwork / scraps / structure that would date a hundred years back. some people can’t understand my fascination though. haha.
i know, right? magkasinabot jud ta with my love for old houses and your love for rizal’s memorabilia. well, maybe not his old pj’s, though. lol.
should we visit each other’s city, at least we know where to take each other for a date. which, i have a feeling, would always end up with food!
come over here! we can do road trips to the ‘old’ places here… 😀 and do some hiking toooooooo…
omg. just no bears, please. lol.
Hahahaa!! Promise. Don’t want bears too.
