it was one of the best kiddie parties ever! just as last year’s was one of the best kiddie parties ever too. i’m shamelessly biased, i know, but i can’t help it. because it really was one of the best kiddie parties, like, ever!

it’s sad that i’m recycling photos taken two years ago but i guess this is how long-distance relationships with nieces go — you hold on to the photos and the memories because you cannot physically hold them in your arms and tell them stories about princesses and rainbow ponies on their way to a party in ponyland.

anyway, let me share with you some of aeva’s birthday photos celebrating her 2nd birthday. that was the first time she came to visit cebu. she was still such a baby. you should listen to her talk now. kids grow up way too fast!

the theme of the party was based on aeva’s favorite book: the very hungry caterpillar by eric carle. there was storytelling, art projects, a bubble show, a scavenger hunt, balloons, and a clown who obviously had a crush on kuya dexter. lol.
