at the risk of sounding defensive, i do like taylor swift. and i say that without any of those juvenile whining that you usually hear from hyperactive teenagers who scream like there’s no tomorrow. i just like her, period. i like her songs too — simple and real and catchy.

although you’d never — ever! — hear me rave about justin bieber. that’s where i draw the line in the tween-pop category.
