this morning, i came home from my second night shift and found all these messages glued everywhere along my usual walking path — on the front door, by the stairs, on my door, in my bed, and one posted in the wall of el2’s room. i was just laughing the whole time because i knew my dad was behind all this but i couldn’t find him. i kept asking my mom where he was but she said she didn’t know either.
all of a sudden, he burst out of may-ann’s door shouting “SURPRISE!!!”
