I asked work if I could come in a bit late so I could help Raven get ready for her school’s Harmony Day where she decided to wear the baro at saya on loan indefinitely from a friend.
All that work and I have no pictures to show for it. She refused to have her photos taken when I dropped her off.
Oh, well.
At least I have these photos from when she was in Year 1. Back when things were less hectic and Jeff and I had the luxury of driving her to school together.
Now we’re pretty much a tag team: He drops her off; I pick her up.

Found these photos too of when she was a Preppie. Where she looked so cute trying on the costume a week before but suddenly flipped the script on the day of the event because she changed her mind about the skirt. I had to improvise and we ended up with the baro over a red dress.
It still worked out alright, I guess, but I’d be lying if I say I wasn’t a tad bit disappointed with her change of heart because she looked so cute and adorable in it!

Seriously, they grow up too fast. I’m just really grateful that Jeff and I get to enjoy these moments with walking her to school and holding her little hand as we always do.
As hectic as the mornings can be, I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world.
I’d hold her hand forever if I could.
