Kitten kisses and Puppy paws

While cool people bought shoes and phones and what-not on Black Friday like a proper human being progressing with the modern times, I went backwards and bought myself… an ABBA record.

The Gold: Greatest Hits album which I am playing as we speak. I told myself it was an early Christmas present for myself but who am I kidding? I’ve been saying that the whole year through each time I make a purchase so I think it’s about time me and myself stop bullshitting each other and come clean.

And when I don’t wanna spend the money, I charmingly ask Jeff if he could buy it instead and consider it as his early Christmas present for me, together with all the other early Christmas presents he got for me since January this year.

Today it was this fluffiest bunny key ring I didn’t even know I needed until I fell in love at first feel.

“What is it?” Jeff asked when I dangled it in front of him and asked if he wanted to make my day merry without it being necessarily Christmas.

A valid question because it brings back my sense of logic, albeit temporarily.

“Nothing,” I replied. Which was true. Because it wasn’t even remotely important or useful, you know what I mean? Purely decorative.

But I swear to god, every single surface of this plushie feels like kitten kisses and puppy paws. That’s the only way I could describe it without sounding vapid.

And that’s how I won my case when he said yes.

A very merry non-Christmas, indeed!
