Wednesday on a Friday

I thought I would maybe go as like, a dumb cheerleader with heavy scratch marks on my face because it was the easiest tutorial I saw on Instagram that involved nothing more than a fork and a tube of lipstick.

But then I also thought last Friday’s theatre list would be short and that I would have plenty of time to prepare for the Filipino Halloween and fundraising event hosted by Jeff’s friend at Menzies Hall in Dandy North.

By the time I got home on my last day of working five days straight, I was already so tired I decided to dress up as Wednesday instead. Not much preparation there aside from my usual makeup. I had been told a lot of times that I sort of have this Wednesday vibe about me so I just ran with it.

I mean, I also could’ve spared myself the trouble and rock up in my scrubs and Halloween couldn’t get any more real than that. But for the life of me, I don’t think I could ever masquerade as a nurse — whether bloodied or sexy — I don’t care. It hits a little too close to home it’s giving PTSD.
