Sending Eggs (Instead of Memes)

The idea came to me when I was brushing my teeth getting ready for work. Which also happens to be my (totally valid) excuse for keeping her memes on seen. Either that, or I was busy watching reels myself and completely forgot to reply to the ones she sent me.

So yeah, the words I wanted to say came first before the actual eggs.

I thought it would be a good prank to leave a carton of eggs on the sly at Raheelah’s doorstep today. My respectful and polite version of egging her house because eggs are ridiculously expensive at the moment to waste them on some silly antics only rich teenagers and psychopaths find funny.

But her husband was at the front yard watering his plants so…

“I thought about you today!” Raheelah said as soon as she came out to give me and the eggs a hug.

“Well, here I am!”

Obviously, we planned on catching up during the school holidays, blah, blah, blah… We have more chances of bumping into each other in bloody Queensland than actually seeing each other as planned!

But we’ll see how that goes. I mean, you know, miracles can happen.

It was a busy day at Dandenong Market today. That’s where I bought the eggs from. I would’ve stayed at home at any given time but, you gotta do what you gotta do.

It turned out to be a good family day out with Filipino barbecue and Chinese dumplings.

Also, I got to wear the skirt and the top I thrifted the other day.

Also, I had my watch battery replaced and the shop lady kindly adjusted the metal straps for free so I was very happy with that.

Now chilling to Lana del Rey’s Born To Die record while sipping fresh kiwi green tea with herbal jelly and pearls.

Two more days of work and then it’s officially the Christmas holidays for me.
