i don’t have a kid but i have a niece i love love love like life itself! a very smart kid you could actually hold a conversation with even when she was barely 2 years old. so not exaggerating. (i’m saying this because i once met a kid aeva’s age who talks only baby talk despite having two yayas dressed up in nursing uniforms who follow her around! it’s wrong of me to compare, i know, but i can’t help it.)

anyway, my older sister took her to the zoo two or three days ago where she saw monkeys and elephants and turtles, to name a few. i’m sharing an anecdote my sister shared with us too:

may-ann: what do turtles eat?
aeva: i think rice and hotdog.

hehe. sooo cute! i miss her so much already.
