I’m doing it. Again.
Trying. Again.
That’s all that matters, right?
Showing up.
Giving it your best, maybe 20% at a time until that 20% stacks up to a hundred and before you know it, you’ve unlocked one of your longest-running goals which, at one point, made you actually wonder if it was even a remote possibility.
With my Wednesdays off, I should’ve joined the skating class sooner but it never crossed my radar until late last week. Out of nowhere I suddenly went Hmmm…. I wonder if Caribbean Rollerama has adults skating classes.
Sure enough, they do! And they have classes on Wednesdays too!
Booked myself a ticket right away before I chickened out.

Of course, my husband was only too happy to support me. And by that I mean he drove me there, which was awesome because deep down, I feel I’m one of those ones born to be chauffeured, you know what I mean? That’s my love language right there.
And food, of course.
Brunch that day — before class started because we arrived a bit early — was chili pie and (some of Jeff’s) spud at this bakery close by. A bit heavy than my usual hash brown and coffee but the chili pie packed on some real punch which was exactly how I liked it.

Wore my latest favourite accessory: a bracelet Raven made for me when she was in kinder. She remade it and strung the beads into an elastic cord (originally she used a pipe cleaner) and embellished it with a pink plastic bow.
And, of course, there’s my furry bunny keychain apparently made of rex rabbit hair which I absolutely adore because it’s the softest thing ever! My own little sensory toy hanging off the side of my bag which I tend to absentmindedly stroke as I go about my errands. It’s like petting a furry puppy, I kid you not. I already have three of them but I want more because who doesn’t like petting puppies?
